Lviv Ukrenergo LLC and Nadra of Ukraine have put into operation the Hutsulivske gas field

On November 24, Ukrenergo LLC with the support of Nadra of Ukraine National Joint-Stock Company, have put into operation the Hutsulivske gas field. It is situated in Trach village, Kosiv district, Ivano-Frankivsk region. As it was said by the President of Ukrenergo Taras Kernytskyi during the opening of the field, it includes three wells – No. 1 (20 thousand cubic meters of gas per day), No.11 (50-60 thousand cubic meters of gas per day) and No. 4 (being equipped, estimated production - 8-10 thousand cubic meters of gas per day). He said that according to preliminary calculations the well’s life is 10 years. “The approximate gas reserves are about 300 million cubic meters at a depth of 900 meters,” Kernytskyi said. According to him, the total area of the Hutsulivske field is 58.75 square kilometers. “Currently only 8% of its potential has been explored,” Kernytskyi said. According to him, Ukrenergo has invested 11 million UAH in the development and exploration of the Hutsulivske field, and the planned investment is 26 million UAH. He also stressed that with the launch of the Hutsulivske field, 5 surrounding villages will be gasified.

Gasbudservice and SU-22 (Lviv) companies were contractors. Ukrenergo LLC was founded in 1998. The company supplies gas to the enterprises of agricultural, machine engineering complex, food industry in all regions of Ukraine. Ukrenergo is also implementing gas and gas condensate production projects.
